The Cure to headline Sasquatch

According to NME website, the annual Sasquatch festival will take place May 24-26 over Memorial Day Weekend at the Gorge Amphitheater. Since The Cure's original date in Seattle was cancelled, those tickets that were already purchased for that show will be honored here. If you do not have tickets, they go on sale on March 8th 12pm Pacific Time. For tickets and additional information please click here.

Phoenix Tickets Available Feb. 29th

According to Live Nation, tickets for the show on June 4th in Phoenix, AZ will go on sale Feb. 29th at 10am mountain time. Ticket prices are $40, $50 and $60.
The info is also listed at Ticketmaster, and they have tickets available for Adams Street parking.

The Cure needs your help

The official site has been updated today with a special message:

Prior to heading out on our Curiosa Festival Tour in 2004, we joined Amnesty International in calling for the release of prisoner Yury Bandazhevsky. We asked you to help by signing a petition on his behalf online and at our concerts. Thousands of signatures and less than a year later, we received the welcome news that he had been released! 

We are about to head out on the European leg of our 4Tour, and are once again joining Amnesty International to call for the release of a prisoner of conscience. Ma Khin Khin Leh is in jail right now for doing something we all do at each and every Cure concert - she has been denied the basic human right of Freedom of Assembly. We hope you will all once again give your support by signing another petition at our shows and online.

In a recent interview, Robert announced there will be a 30th Anniversary DVD that he's working on with Tim Pope, which will include a concert that was filmed during the Prayer Tour in 1989.
