* (This video did not feature The Cure and was not connected with Tim Pope, The Cures choice producer and is very rare)

Yes, this is true. The UK version of 'Play Out' features live versions of the songs 'Harold And Joe', 'Just like Heaven' and 'If Only Tonight We Could Sleep'.

Some songs, such as 'The Lovecats', use different versions of the song for the video. As for 'Boys Don't Cry' and the later version of 'Close To Me', these two videos were shot for the remixed versions of the songs.

All of The Cures videos released in the year 1980-1986 (except 'The Blood') can be found on the Staring At The Sea video and the videos released between 1987-1998 can be found on the Galore video. The two Siouxsie & The Banshees videos featuring Robert Smith are available on Twice Upon On A Time.

5. What is the story behind In Orange?

In August of 1986, the Cure went on "The Beach Party Tour", which was comprised of concerts in antique arenas in the south of France and San Sebastian, Spain. Robert Smith felt it was the best opportunity to capture the atmosphere of a Cure concert by filming it. Le Theatre Antique d'Orange (the antique amphitheatre of Orange), near Avignon, France, was chosen for the site's grandeur. "The Cure in Orange" was premiered 23 April 87 in London and released as a videotape November 87 (the laserdisc came out in October 88). Tim Pope directed the film, just as he had directed all of the Cure videos since 1983 (and continued to do so until the video for "A Letter to Elise").

6. If In Orange was so great, why film Show?

In 1992, six years after "Orange", Robert Smith said he was fed up with people who thought of "Orange" when they thought of a Cure concert, and decided a new film was needed to show the band as it was at the time. He also knew that Porl would quit at the end of the tour, and wanted to get a lasting document of the band as it was. Two concerts were filmed in Auburn Hills, Michigan in July 1992.

Sometimes, but not often (and usually late at night), you can find Cure videos being played on MTV and maybe even VH1.

Sometimes this is showed on TV, but that's not something you should count on. It is also very easy to find bootlegged copies of this recording.
Also, the video 'Play Out' featured some tracks from the recording, as well as some recordings from the rehearsal

That is Robert's wife, Mary Poole. At the time they were not married, but had been dating for quite a while.
